Kaelen's Senior shoot

Yesterday, (Superbowl Sunday), was such a dreary day, but you wouldn't know it from these...well, maybe the second one, but that was the intent!  This is Kaelen, the fabulously beautiful niece of a good friend of mine, in some of her Senior pictures!  She and her mom scouted out a few cool spots in and around Old Towne Helotes before we met and made my job easy!?!  Thanks Kaelen you were a blast to work with!!

LeAnna and Chase

I was just getting ready to head out for the night to ring in the New Year with my family and realize I haven't posted anything in almost two months! It's because I've been busy!!! Here's something from my most memorable trip ever earlier this month. I shot LeAnna and Chase's wedding at a beautiful Historic Plantation in Natchez, Mississippi. Surprisingly enough, I spent 8 hours of the drive there in a crazy blizzard! It started in Houston and didn't let up until we got there, but wow! Was it beautiful! All the rooftops were covered in snow! May you all have many beautiful moments in the upcoming year and wonderful photographs to remember them by! Happy New Year everyone!

Saturday this weekend was so beautiful.... but Sunday was overcast and rainy most of the day! That didn't stop us from getting out and taking some fun engagement pictures in Old Towne Helotes between the rain showers. The sun poked out for just a couple of minutes and we took advantage of it. Thank you mother nature for the short respite and thanks to Gabby and Thomas for braving the rain with me!

I met this fabulous couple, Craig & Alyse, who have equally fabulous grandparents, Charlotte & Hans... who happen to own and operate the Hofmann Ranch in Castroville, which was going to be highlighted in San Antonio Weddings magazine... and they chose to use our wedding photographs to showcase the Ranch.... Stevi & Dustin and I met up in Gruene last week to do their engagement session. It was almost 100 degrees when we started but it cooled down quick and we had the most fabulous breeze!!! I'm loving this Texas weather!!! Here are a few of my favorites...

A moment in summer

I'm fortunate to be blessed with a job that gives me flexibility to spend time with my family. The lack of blogging this summer was just that, me being busy with my kids. Last weekend I was in Shreveport working round the clock and I had to share this as one of my favorite moments..... What a great way to wrap up the summer! This was a spontaneous moment after our photo shoot was over, I had to unpack my camera so I didn't miss it....
