San Antonio here I am!

Sorry I've been unavailable for the last couple of weeks, my husband got a great job offer in San Antonio in the middle of August and we decided to act quickly and get the kids registered in school in San Antonio since the school year started this week. We hopped in the car and spent a week looking for houses before we found the perfect one, then came back to Bossier and packed up some supplies to keep us going for a few weeks and turned right around and got the kids back in time to start school here on Monday. My head is still spinning!

I still have weddings scheduled in Shreveport/Bossier through next June, so will be in town plenty if you would like to set up an appointment, my schedule will not be as flexible as it was though.

If you know any one in San Antonio, please feel free to share my name, if your heading out this way for a vacation, be sure to look me up!

Jennifer & Derek are getting married in Longview, Texas in a couple of weeks, here are my favorite shots from their engagement session.

The Gibson Family

We squeezed these pictures in just prior to the father's one year deployment to Iraq. It always makes me so sad seeing a father deploy, but I'm glad to know that he'll have lots of beautiful pictures to look at throughout his deployment to remind him of his wonderful family that he left behind. Here are some of my favorites from the day. Godspeed, Mike, may you be safe and come home soon!

Judge

I haven't had a whole lot of time to post anything lately, but I couldn't resist putting these pictures with the spring flowers on. They are definitely what is new this week in Louisiana! This is Judge, one awesome 2 year old! I met him a year ago when I did his family pictures and feel fortunate to call his mom one of my very good friends! Love ya Amy!

Daily Harvest in Monroe

I had the opportunity to do some food styling the other day at Daily Harvest on Forsythe Avenue in Monroe. They make everything from organic products right there in there shop. I never knew organic could be so delicious. Lucky for me, I got to sample most everything and it actually tastes as good as it looks. YUM! The pictures were shot on location in their restaurant and are going to be used for table tents, careful if you are dieting, the above pictures will make you hungry! But then again, it's good for you, so you don't feel bad about indulging. If you are ever in Monroe, stop in for a treat and tell them Donna sent ya ;)

Melissa & Kayne

I've been so busy with Christmas that I haven't had a chance to catch up on my what's new... Here's something that I've been wanting to post. This is Melissa & Kayne, they had a small country wedding in Coushatta and I was fortunate to have been hired to capture the day. These two are SO in love and were SO happy!!!!
