- 13 years ago I got married and hired a photographer who inspired me, NOT in a good way. I’d never been married before, I had no idea who to use, google didn’t exist yet, so I asked the photographer in our Art Dept who did his daughters weddings & hired them. Some man, that I had never met before, came to our wedding with his big camera, and took pictures of my double chin. When that wasn’t showing, my bra strap was. Never in my life was I so upset than when I saw our wedding pictures. I know I don't have a double chin in most pictures I've taken, it was a mystery to me why it appeared on my wedding day, I couldn’t believe he didn’t tell me or see that it didn’t look good! I was so mad I cried, thinking, I can't do this again, and I could do better than this, when it hit me, I COULD do better. I went to the studio he worked for & got hired. After shooting one wedding with the owner, he sent me out on my own. Not something that I would ever consider doing today, but ignorance is bliss, I felt empowered. I’ve developed a style of my own with that goal in mind, ALWAYS doing WAY better than the man who inspired me. Click on link below or call 210-722-4934
